The Next Day
Literally, the NEXT day after Passover, we had no leftovers! Yay! We ate all of it! My mom was happy, and I am kinda sad because I still want to have the delicious food we had on Passover!

Last Nights Dinner!
Cheese Night
A few weeks ago my family and I had cheese night! We had a variety of cheeses, (some were so stinky they had to be under a glass covering) meats, nuts, fruits, crackers, and a baguette. This was loads of fun, and now I have discovered some new cheeses that I love! I recommend this night to any of you out there, it was a blast!

When I went to Kauai
I want to share with you these pictures of food from when my family and I went to kauai. In the first picture, there is banana cream pie, and the second picture, is a picture of some fruit we had, called rambutan. The third picture is the inside of a rambutan. They taste just like grapes, but they have pits.

Cooking around the world
I think that it is amazing that many different religions around the world, have their own type of food that they would make for a certain holiday, or a certain food that they would make on their birthday, and so on. I am going to share with you something that my mom did on Purim, even though i'm a little late to share it with you :) These cookies are called Hamantaschen. these were a bunch of them my mom put together to make a Jewish star.

broccoli souffles
These are some broccoli soufflé's that a lady cooked, who was at my house. They were very good, and you can look up any good recipe, and find these light, fluffy, and delicious!
And my younger brother eats them, he's pretty picky, these are good.

The World of Food and Cooking
I think that it is important for us to recognize the importance of food in out lives. Food doesn't just keep us alive, it also inspires us. It inspires us to take chances, to experience new things. Thats what it did for me. When I am not cooking, I can't wait till the next time I can. The more I think about it, the more I want to. There are so many things to learn about cooking, and about food. You can take just one type of food, for example, beef. With just one thing, beef, there are so many different ways to cook it. It can be in a hamburger, it can be steak, it can be in a soup, it can be in a pie, in a stew, its endless. But it isn't only beef I am talking about here, I am talking about all of the ingredients in life that we can experiment with. Besides the world of food we already know, there is still a lot of room for us to make our own discoveries, and our own inventions. While I am cooking, I always think, there are so many different flavors out in the world, I wonder how people use them. Because there are so many spices, and seasonings, and sauces, etc. I just can't believe it! And there are also edibles we haven't even discovered yet! Just like our world. Just like about ourselves. Thats why I love food. Its amazing, delicious, and endless.
